Jesper grew up in a family of filmmakers, and his desire to write stories naturally drew him to screenwriting. Two of his screenplays made it into Hollywood movies starring, among others, Rob Lowe and James Belushi.

Always wanting to write novels and craving the autonomy that would give, he embarked on the long and lonely road of writing his first novel Out Came the Wolves, which was followed by Shadow of the Dead and Dance With the Devil.

In 2016 Jesper started writing audiobooks for Storytel, a new way of telling stories that suited him perfectly. With his brother Joakim, he wrote Black Star, a sci-fi trilogy, and most recently, he penned the time travel thriller 1986.

Jesper lives in Stockholm, Sweden, with his wife and two young children.
